Why Them?

I finished it today!!! I can't go into too much detail (or give you the song), but I can tell you some things.

There's more guitar, strings, and drums. I still can't really play the guitar...or the drums (since I don't have any drums), but it's really cool. I surprised myself.
There's this part in the middle that kind of makes the song drop. It's really cool, but a little rough. I'm contemplating revisiting that part. But that'll be in the final stages. Right now, I'm just trying to finish songs.

5 down, 7 more to go! (I changed the number of tracks due to time constraints) Trying to release the album by the end of school.

By the way, next song will probably be "Pressure"!

Why Them?

I'm almost finished with this song. I just need to compose the rest of the ending bridge and...ending! Well, I have the lyrics all finished. Here they are:

She comes into school every day,
Not expecting someone to say hello.
And he tries to talk to you,
But be busy, you pretend to.
I wish I didn't sit back.
They're mocking them again.

Why them?
Torturing everything else.
Why them?
Their happiness thrown away.
Why them?
Getting your hands on their self.
Why them?
You just won't go away!

She never needed to pray
For herself before. Now it's just daily routine.
And he cries for help but they say
It's just typical self-esteem.
I want to be their haven
And you should be their friends!

(chorus)

I need
You now
To walk
Away.
They're far
Too gone
For hurt
To stay.
(repeat)

(chorus)

Well, I'll keep you "posted".

Working on these songs:

1. Why Them?
2. There Is No Closet
3. Raise Me Down
4. Pressure

I think I can finish Why Them? by the end of the week, as long as I finish writing the lyrics. Since testing is next week, I could probably finish Pressure. There Is No Closet and Raise Me Down will take a little longer because they have guitar parts and I'm not sure how I want to tackle those yet.

I could either:
a) use a VITA Guitar (computer) - already using one, so I want to have a real one
b) play the parts myself - I can't play the guitar very well!
c) find someone to play the parts for me and then credit them in the liner notes

idk. I just want to finish this cd. I can't wait to hear the outcome!

Reconstruction video

Maybe tomorrow, if I talk myself into it, I'll bring my video camera into the garage and make a little music video for Reconstruction. I don't have the whole idea planned out yet, but it's a possibility. Now, I'm going to bed! (11:03) Stayed up doing Algebra make up work.

Other CDs

I have decided that if I have enough time, I will release French and Russian versions of TheDangerZone Part3 (way after TheDangerZone Part3 of course). They're probably not going to be exact translations or with the exact same songs, but they will be the equivalents of it.

Russian CD
Прекрасный Отказ (Perfect Reject)
1. Не Откажусь (I Won't Give Up)
2. Прекрасный Отказ (Perfect Reject)
3. Я Невинный, Ты Невинная (I'm Innocent, You're Innocent)
4. Моя Защита (My Protection)
5. Заводные Сердца (Clockwork Hearts)
6. Тебе Всё Равно (You Don't Care)
7. Если это - конец... (If This is the End...)
French CD
Une Heure de Plus (One More Hour)
1. Je ne me rendrai pas (I won't give up)
2. Une Heure de Plus (One More Hour)
3. Les Différences (Differences)
4. Ma Protectrice (My Protector)
5. Si c'est la fin... (If this is the end...)
6. Laissez-Faire (Let them do what they choose)*
7. Son Moxie (Her Moxie) **

*= roughly translated as "Let do", but in French philosophy means "Let the people do what they choose".

**= "Moxie" could also be "Determination"

Keep checking in on me and look forward to TheDangerZone Part3!!!

NIghtYear

I just finished NightYear! That took a long time because the file was really large, so my program would lock up if I did any little thing. Trying to export as just a WAV was nightmare! Anyway, I finally got it down to my liking. It's a little raw and takes a little getting used to, but I think you'll like it.

4 down, 10 more to go.
